The design of the lab scale model of the emergency discharge system and of the experimental campaign was developed jointly by the research staff of Technical University of Bari (Italy), ATB Riva Calzoni SpA and Studio Ing. G. Pietrangeli srl. In the following, some technical requirements of the overall discharge system are analysed and the several data collected during the experimental test on the lab model are analysed and commented
