We propose a model for the Mullins effect of a 'long' cylinder of rubber-like material which is bonded to a fixed rigid support at its outer radius and to a rigid sleeve at its inner radius. The cylinder supposed isotropic and incompressible, is subjected to cyclic loads with a torque moment and an axial force applied to the inner sleeve. The analysis is based on a micro-mechanical scheme of a polymeric network constituted by both elastic and breakable chains, is responsible for the network alteration.
