The relationships which make reality recognizable in its representations have benefited from the great improvements achieved by the modeling and digital representation techniques. Taking inspiration from the interesting results of the real-time renderings of urban environments, obtained by the Technische Universität Wien in late 90s, the Politecnico di Bari’s university campus has been used as test field in order to create a 3d model, that can allow browsing and a complete interaction, thus transforming the user into an active subject.
