Abstract
Flexible Automated Production Systems (FAPS) are designed as fault tolerant systems in order to ensure increased operating time. This paper proposes an integrated performance-reliability model to evaluate different measures for a more complete and easy quantification of the fault tolerance characteristic of a FAPS and its ability to perform in degraded states. Some examples are presented to show the applicability of computational algorithms.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
