The landscape form as act of visual perception

The territory is a spatial narrative, a three-dimensional composition of scenes. There is a link between movement and landscape visible form. This best expresses itself through the movement of the camera because its architectonic composition derives from the act of gazing. The movement organizes the sequences of the perception and allows us organizing and experiencing the space. For this reason, within the Department of Civil Engineering Sciences and Architecture of Politecnico di Bari, we wanted to experience a new way to promote and divulge a scientific research, about Apulian rural landscapes and architectures, by using an uncommon tool for a university: that of the cinematographic storytelling.
