Abstract
This paper presents a new structure for a Six-Port Reflectometer (SPR) which uses a symmetric five-port ring cascade-connected to a backward coupler. The performance of the ring-based SPR has been compared with that of a SPR which uses four 90° hybrids. Circuit design criteria, developed by means of commercial computer code Advanced Design System (ADS), show that the ring configuration allows to obtain a higher cut frequency and lower attenuation coefficients.File in questo prodotto:
