In this paper the results of static and kinematic surveys using GNSS multi-constellation receivers acquiring GPS, GLONASS and Galileo Open Service (OS) data are presented. The static and kinematic GNSS data processing have been performed using the open source program package RTKLIB. The kinematic surveys have been compared with a reference trajectory computed from a Mobile Mapping System (MMS) using a high performance GNSS/INS system. As reference stations a multi-constellation Leica receiver belonging to ItalPos network and located at University of Trieste, Italy and a reference station belonging to the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Marussi GNSS network have been used for static and kinematic surveys. The obtained results show, even at this initial phase, good planimetric performances both in static than in kinematic applications. Two different static sessions performed in a six months period allowed the Authors to analyze the solution improvements due to the increased number of Galileo satellites.
