This paper deals with a comparison among some current controlled PWM techniques for induction motor drives working under different load conditions and sampling frequencies. Nonoptimal, optimal, pre-optimized and, more in detail, three fuzzy logic-based controllers are considered. The analysis is carried out by means of simulations done by using Simulink/sup (R)/. A novel useful switching frequency tool is also presented and discussed.

Abstract

This paper deals with a comparison among some current controlled PWM techniques for induction motor drives working under different load conditions and sampling frequencies. Nonoptimal, optimal, pre-optimized and, more in detail, three fuzzy logic-based controllers are considered. The analysis is carried out by means of simulations done by using Simulink/sup (R)/. A novel useful switching frequency tool is also presented and discussed.
