The problematic of the control of a wind system considered as an isolate source of power is considered; the plant is composed by a wind-turbine, connected by means of a gear box to a three phase electric synchronous generator, and try a control system. In order to simulate the behavior of wind system, the mathematical models of the wind-turbine and the electrical generator are used, To govern the wind system, the One-Step-Ahead adaptive control technique is adopted. The results of a control test case is finally shown in order to demonstrate the reliability of the proposed control technique.
