In this paper, the dynamic model of a master-slave controlled microgrid suitable for transient stability assessments has been developed. The dynamic model has been derived for the PrInCE Lab experimental microgrid located at the Polytechnic University of Bari. This microgrid represents a hard test bed for dynamic stability studies since all its devices are interfaced through power converters, giving rise to an inertialess system. Dynamic models of the main microgrid energy sources have been developed within the DIgSILENT Power Factory software environment. Some ad-hoc experiments have been performed in order to fine tune the models' parameters and the microgrid model accuracy has been proven by several validation tests performed under different scenarios of load and generation.

Abstract
In this paper, the dynamic model of a master-slave controlled microgrid suitable for transient stability assessments has been developed. The dynamic model has been derived for the PrInCE Lab experimental microgrid located at the Polytechnic University of Bari. This microgrid represents a hard test bed for dynamic stability studies since all its devices are interfaced through power converters, giving rise to an inertialess system. Dynamic models of the main microgrid energy sources have been developed within the DIgSILENT Power Factory software environment. Some ad-hoc experiments have been performed in order to fine tune the models' parameters and the microgrid model accuracy has been proven by several validation tests performed under different scenarios of load and generation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
