The assessment and management of the built heritage are increasingly focused on ICT enabling technologies, namely VR/AR digital environments and photo-realistic reconstructions that enable the users’ interaction with a variety of informational contents, both educational and specialist. Within the above-mentioned framework, the paper is going to outline the general objectives of the project Interreg Italy-Albania-Montenegro “3D-IMPACT” on the development of innovative operation approaches to create “virtual networks” of international ancient architectures and archaeological sites, based on the identification of “physical networks” of common historic, environmental and technical characteristics. Then, the paper will discuss some preliminary results from the project WebGIS system, which integrates virtual tours of 360° panoramas, photomodelling-based 3D models and CAD-based 2D/3D reconstructions within a single platform for fruition.
La conoscenza e la gestione del patrimonio costruito si avvalgono in modo crescente di tecnologie ICT abilitanti, basate su ambienti e ricostruzioni fotorealistiche VR/AR, che guidano l’utente nella interazione con contenuti informativi, di tipo didattico e/o specialistico. In tale contesto, il contributo presenta gli obiettivi generali di un progetto Interreg Italia-Albania-Montenegro “3D-IMP-ACT” sullo sviluppo di modalità operative innovative per la creazione di “reti virtuali” di beni architettonici e archeologici a scala territoriale internazionale, sulla base della identificazione di “reti fisiche” per caratteristiche storiche, ambientali e tecniche comuni. In particolare, vengono discussi alcuni risultati preliminari relativi al WebGIS di progetto, che integra tour virtuali di panorami a 360°, modelli 3D da fotomodellazione e restituzioni CAD 2D/3D in un'unica piattaforma di consultazione e fruizione.
