The paper describes the international patent (PCT / IB2013 / 000830) of the Polytechnic of Bari on building construction system "Nexus: Earthquake-proof Self-supporting "dry" construction system composed by environmentally sustainable, stratified and self-clinching blocks". The patent is based on the use of specific materials (cement lightened stones reassembled, plastic materials, ...) to create poly-composed "blocks" for building industry, having high structural, sound-absorbing and insulating resistance. The blocks, made up of layers of different materials, suitably assembled by mechanical fastening and without chemical adhesives, are designed so to allow, at the end of the block life cycle, the separation and reuse of raw materials used for the composition of individual layers. The building system obtained is a completely assembled "dry" and utilizes internal metal couplings to the blocks to achieve a structural cage able to give the building a high seismic resistance.

Abstract
The building system obtained is a completely assembled "dry" and utilizes internal metal couplings to the blocks to achieve a structural cage able to give the building a high seismic resistance.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
