Abstract
The essay suggests an inter- pretation on the topic of relationship be- tween landscape and places of extrac- tion, through the declination of re-cycling as an approach at different scales, to define strategies and metodological ac- tivities, which allow to update and inno- vate the principles upon which is based the relationship between exploitation, transformation and disposal of the quar- ries. The case of Apulia represents a significant field, considering at least for two issues: the role assumed by the ac- tivity of stone extraction in the regional economy, although nowdays is not im- plemented by activities of transforma- tion of the matter in loco; also for the dimensional relevance of the landscapes of quarries, mainly connected to private interests, and for the activities, and re- sulting environmental implications.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
