The case-study presented here is a meditation about the use of design as a tool of knowledge and design with particular reference to the drafting of the first excerpt of the Recovery Plan that has affected an area of the historic center of Cisternino. The relief and the design require standards of representation of the architectural elements that can fully illustrate all the aspects necessary to intervene on the already built which assumes the knowledge of a big graphic repertoire derived from practice, knowing and manual.
