The documentation work presented in this publication, in English and Arabic, was developed between August 2019 and February 2020 within the framework of Stunde-Null: Post-Conflict Recovery of Urban Cultural Heritage -- Case Study: Old City of Aleppo. The German Federal Foreign Office financed the study. A number of meetings and workshops with the project team members, partners and network (BTU Cottbus - Senftenberg – Stuttgart University) took place in 2019, to define the study area, the feasibility of the study, and to discuss the working methodology. These sessions were as follows: 22-23 August 2019: Berlin – Workshop on selection criteria and parameters for the study area (pilot project). 30 October 2019: Berlin – Workshop on first results of the pilot project and merging synergies. 5-6 December 2019: Bari – Coordination meeting to wrap-up the work and discuss how to be present the results.
