La gestione dei rifiuti plastici agricoli: problematiche ambientali e soluzioni tecnologiche (seconda parte)

The main results of the European Project “Labelagriwaste” analysing the solution for a correct collection, transport and disposal of agricultural plastic waste are presented in this second part of the paper. The most technically efficient and economically feasible solutions are analyzed. Moreover the implementation of a Geographical Information System at regional scale is described; this GIS is able to contribute to the analysis of agricultural plastic waste production, flux, collection and disposal. The results enabled the analysis and planning of agricultural plastic waste fluxes, together with the possibility to investigate different development scenarios and to consider new planning strategies for the management of agricultural plastic waste
