MICROCLIMATE SIMULATION MODEL FOR A DOUBLE PLASTIC FILM SKIN GREENHOUSE A mathematical model for the simulation of a double plastic film skin greenhouse microclimate was developed. The model had the weather conditions and the constructive properties of the greenhouse as inputs and the air and soil temperatures, and the air relative humidity inside the greenhouse as outputs. The model was realized using the Fortran language and the results were compared with the experimental data obtained with field tests carried out on an experimental double skin plastic greenhouse. The weather conditions, the air and the soil temperature, the relative humidity inside the greenhouse, the temperature of the air gap between the two films were gathered by means of sensors and a data logger. The results obtained by the simulation model showed a good agreement with the experimental measurements, an average error of 1.02 °C was obtained for the internal air temperature and lower average errors for the temperature of the soil at different depths.

Nella presente ricerca è stato sviluppato un modello di simulazione del microclima di una serra coperta con doppio strato di film plastico. Il modello, sviluppato in linguaggio Fortran, prevede come input le condizioni climatiche del sito e le caratteristiche costruttive della serra e produce come output la temperatura e l’umidità relativa dell’aria e le temperature nel suolo all’interno della serra. Al fine di verificare l’affidabilità del modello di simulazione è stata condotta una prova sperimentale con la realizzazione di una serra in doppio film plastico in cui sono stati rilevati parametri quali la temperatura e l’umidità relativa dell’aria e la temperatura del suolo all’interno della serra, la temperatura dell’aria nell’intercapedine fra i due film plastici, oltre le caratteristiche meteorologiche del sito. I risultati ottenuti con l’applicazione del modello hanno mostrato un buon accordo con i dati rilevati sperimentalmente. Infatti l’errore medio relativo alla temperatura dell’aria all’interno della serra è stato pari a 1.02 °C, mentre valori più bassi sono stati riscontrati per l’errore medio relativo alle temperature nel suolo a differenti profondità.
