This paper presents a novel structured argumentation approach, combining a bipolar weighted argumentation framework with non-standard Description Logics reasoning for the appraisal of argument relations. This enables autonomous decision-making in Semantic Web of Things (SWoT) contexts with a formal explanation of outcomes. While inherently generalpurpose, the proposal is particularly fit for autonomous agents in smart mobility scenarios, as exemplified by a collaborative traffic management case study in a vehicular network.

Abstract
This paper presents a novel structured argumentation approach, combining a bipolar weighted argumentation framework with non-standard Description Logics reasoning for the appraisal of argument relations. This enables autonomous decision-making in Semantic Web of Things (SWoT) contexts with a formal explanation of outcomes. While inherently generalpurpose, the proposal is particularly fit for autonomous agents in smart mobility scenarios, as exemplified by a collaborative traffic management case study in a vehicular network.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
