AbstractTheintroductionofthedefinitionofcyclicalassetsintheInternationalValuationStandards(IVSC,2017,2020)requiresaspecificattentionwhilevaluingcommercialpropertieswithdirectcapitalizationordiscountedcashflowanalysis.Followingtheintroductionofcyclicalcapitalizationmodel(d’Amato,IntJStrategicPropertyManag19(3):207–219,2015)providesapossiblesolutionfortheproblemoftheintegrationofpropertymarketcycleinsidethevaluationprocess.Inthisveinthecontributionexplorestherelationshipbetweeninputsandoutputinthecyclicalyieldcapitalizationmodellingdefiningarelationshipbetweenvariabilityofmarkettrendandvariabilityoftheopinionofvalue.Evidenceconfirmsthestabilityoftheopinionofvalueprovidedbythiskindofmethod.
