Abstract

With reference to a study sample related to eleven countries (Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and United Kingdom), the present work intends to identify the impact of specific factors on the sustainability of the construction sector through the definition of a composite index. In particular, in order to investigate the different contributions of the factors chosen for the analysis, the data collected for the selected countries are processed by an automatic tool. The research could represent a valid reference for the Public Administrations to monitor the construction sector and to define strategies and policies able to improve the sustainability of territorial transformation interventions and built environment
