In the context of the maintenance of urban and extra-urban road infrastructures, the need to support Public Administrations in the selection of technological solutions able to, on one hand, pursue compliance with i) environmental issue, ii) urban planning and iii) protection of cultural and landscape heritage regulations, and, on the other hand, to be financially sustainable, is relevant. The aim of the present research concerns the definition of a methodological approach for the assessment of the parametric costs of innovative technological solutions, by taking into account their differentials compared to the traditional ones, i.e. the solutions generally applied in the considered contexts. With reference to twenty roads located into the city of Rome (Italy), assumed as case studies, the parametric costs for the traditional solutions and the innovative ones have been built, by evaluating all the working expenses that occur for their realization. Finally, the cost differentials between them have been highlighted.

Abstract
Finally, the cost differentials between them have been highlighted.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
