In this paper we propose a procedure to analyze digital circuits both in CNTFET and CMOS technology in order to compare them. In particular we apply the proposed procedure to study a NAND gate, but highlighting that the procedure can applied to analyze every other digital circuit. In fact, to demonstrate this, we apply the procedure to analyze a NOT gate both in CNTFET and in CMOS technology. At last we show the improvements obtained with CNTFET technology compared to CMOS one. All simulations are carried out using the software Advanced Design System (ADS), which is compatible with the Verilog-A programming language.

Abstract
