Blockchain technology can be considered a new engaging technology. Its diffusion starts from 2008 thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto, then its expansion happens rapidly. The goal of this paper is to analyze Blockchain technology and in particular its impact in the social good topic. This social impact of Blockchain can help to improve the way we live in our society and how we can feel part of a community. Other than the implicit characteristics of decentralization, immutability and anonimity, Blockchain is particularly useful in untrusted environments, because it helps keeping transactions happening between two or more parties as transparent as possible.
