One of the many areas in which graphic design is used is in the political field, where visual communication is used primarily as party propaganda. Specifically, analyzing the history of republican Italy, the relationship between graphics and politics has never lost its intensity. Starting from the example of Albe Steiner for the Italian Communist Party in the Italy of the second post-war period and from the experience of Ettore Vitale for the Italian Socialist Party, carried out between the Seventies and the Eighties. And it is precisely on this design approach that the event investigated in the contribution proposal is inserted: the electoral campaign of Nichi Vendola for the presidency of the Puglia Region in 2009-10 conceived for Vendola by the Bari-based agency FF3300.
