In this work, a corporate-feed, air-filled, Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) slot antenna has been designed to operate in V-band. The air-filled SIW technology is adopted to reduce Ohmic and dielectric losses of the array while preserving the capability to provide very compact radiating structures suited to Printed Circuit Board (PCB) technology. The unit cell of the antenna consists of a 2×2 slot array with a simulated maximum gain of 13.8 dBi and an efficiency higher than -0.45 dB. The unit-cell is used in an 8×8 slot array which provides a simulated gain of 24 dBi over the frequency band 59-69 GHz.
