A new era has been opened by the millimeter-wave (mm-wave) technology in the wireless communication fields like mobile devices, internet of things (IoT), military, medical and other applications. The 5G technology has been developed to meet high data rate and large volume multi-media applications. Currently, the trend of using mm-wave communication systems is getting attention in cellular and other wireless applications. This paper presents an H-plane printed horn antenna with sandwich substrate structure. Antenna is expected to give 8.64 dBi measured gain and 20 to 40 GHz impedance bandwidth with S11<-10 dB at 28 GHz center frequency.

Abstract
A new era has been opened by the millimeter-wave (mm-wave) technology in the wireless communication fields like mobile devices, internet of things (IoT), military, medical and other applications. The 5G technology has been developed to meet high data rate and large volume multi-media applications. Currently, the trend of using mm-wave communication systems is getting attention in cellular and other wireless applications. This paper presents an H-plane printed horn antenna with sandwich substrate structure. Antenna is expected to give 8.64 dBi measured gain and 20 to 40 GHz impedance bandwidth with S11<-10 dB at 28 GHz center frequency.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
