The use of the two rotor loop equivalent circuit with a reduced number of parameters, examined in Part 1, is extended to the determination of performance of induction machines under conditions of nonsinusoidal applied voltage. The harmonic current and stray-load losses can be calculated with this equivalent circuit without neglecting the deep-bar effects at high frequencies. Moreover the same equivalent circuit is proposed for transient condition simulations of induction motors. Techniques are examined for determining circuit parameters and comparisons are made between theoretical and experimental results obtained from tests carried out on different motors.

Abstract
The use of the two rotor loop equivalent circuit with a reduced number of parameters, examined in Part 1, is extended to the determination of performance of induction machines under conditions of nonsinusoidal applied voltage. The harmonic current and stray-load losses can be calculated with this equivalent circuit without neglecting the deep-bar effects at high frequencies. Moreover the same equivalent circuit is proposed for transient condition simulations of induction motors. Techniques are examined for determining circuit parameters and comparisons are made between theoretical and experimental results obtained from tests carried out on different motors.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
