Abstract
At the end of the last century, excavations directed by Ernesto De Miro north of the archaeological Museum of Agrigento discovered a courtyard dominated by a temple, known since then as the Roman Sanctuary . At least with regard to architecture, the excavation edition was not very thorough, therefore the team of the Department of Civil Engineering Sciences and Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Bari (Italy), in agreement with the Archaeological Park of the Temple Valley of Agrigento and in cooperation with the University of Catania, started in 2012 a critical revision of the previous investigations and a new survey, with the aim of studying the monument and enhancing it. The new historical data led to an anastylosis project, realized in 2019-20 by the Archaeological Park with Regional funds.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
