In this paper we propose the design of a multichannel system for non-invasive continuous real-time monitoring of breathing functions. The proposed system is based on a low-cost, electronic medical device, designed by us within a research program on the remote and non-invasive monitoring of the health. Moreover the device allows the effective auscultation, the accurate processing and the detailed visualization (temporal and frequency graphs) of any lung sound. Then, it is suitable for the continuous real-time monitoring of breathing functions, resulting also very useful to diagnose respiratory pathologies.

Abstract
In this paper we propose the design of a multichannel system for non-invasive continuous real-time monitoring of breathing functions. The proposed system is based on a low-cost, electronic medical device, designed by us within a research program on the remote and non-invasive monitoring of the health. Moreover the device allows the effective auscultation, the accurate processing and the detailed visualization (temporal and frequency graphs) of any lung sound. Then, it is suitable for the continuous real-time monitoring of breathing functions, resulting also very useful to diagnose respiratory pathologies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
