This paper presents the research concerning the analysis of accelerometer data and the post-processing in order to monitor artistic and historical buildings. In particular, the case of interest was to consider the data acquired from a set of accelerometers suitably placed on the walls of a building, the "San Giacomo" structure, that is in renaissance style, built in 1663 and situated at the Old Town of Corfu in Greece. In this paper, a digital signal processing technique is presented and a database of signals acquired by means of accelerometers is suitably examined for the purpose of dynamical identification.

Abstract
This paper presents the research concerning the analysis of accelerometer data and the post-processing in order to monitor artistic and historical buildings. In particular, the case of interest was to consider the data acquired from a set of accelerometers suitably placed on the walls of a building, the "San Giacomo" structure, that is in renaissance style, built in 1663 and situated at the Old Town of Corfu in Greece. In this paper, a digital signal processing technique is presented and a database of signals acquired by means of accelerometers is suitably examined for the purpose of dynamical identification.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
