Abstract
In this chapter we present an intelligent system to measure the blood arterial pressure on remote multi-patients in real time. The device has been designed by using the oscillometric method, which does not suffer from the limitations of the well-known auscultatory one. The device makes use of a microcontroller and a Sallen-Key active filter, and allows the evaluation of the systolic and diastolic pressure values. The system, which allows also the transmission of the collected data to a remote computer, has been designed, realized and testedI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
