The control architecture developed within the research project “Energy Router” and some test results obtained during this work are shown. This project aims to give prosumers a control device that allows them to schedule their own electric consumption in a demand response framework. The control of resources is performed in two stages, according to a hierarchical control structure. A cloud-based computation platform provides global control functions whereas a closed-loop local device controls all field components and actuators. The architecture was developed having in mind a typical prosumer system comprising PV generation, battery storage and interruptible loads.

Abstract
The control architecture developed within the research project “Energy Router” and some test results obtained during this work are shown. This project aims to give prosumers a control device that allows them to schedule their own electric consumption in a demand response framework. The control of resources is performed in two stages, according to a hierarchical control structure. A cloud-based computation platform provides global control functions whereas a closed-loop local device controls all field components and actuators. The architecture was developed having in mind a typical prosumer system comprising PV generation, battery storage and interruptible loads.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
