Even though techniques for measuring time base distortion have been already extensively investigated in relation to equivalent-time sampling digitizers, they must be modified to deal with real-time analog-memory systems. In this paper, we develop the correct measurement technique according to the hardware peculiarities of analog-memory sampling digitizers. Experimental characterization of such a system is also made.
