This paper is aimed to present the progress in the operation tests of the PrInCE lab experimental microgrid realized at Power and Energy System Laboratory of Politecnico di Bari. The facility is exploited as a testbed for the characterization of device features, for the field implementation of single and coordinate control strategies, and for the development of research project demonstration. In particular, results of the static and dynamic characterization of the gas- fueled cogeneration system installed in the microgrid are presented.
