Our research is aimed at verifying the potential use of a global HBIM approach, starting from the study of a seventeenth-century building located in Bari’s old center. The research has focused its attention on testing point cloud acquisition methods for the metric control of the models. During the modeling phase, the point cloud has been processed by both implementing aligning in place’s techniques and simplifying it to slice through the Autodesk ReCap tool to adopt and test direct modeling methods with Revit.

Abstract
Our research is aimed at verifying the potential use of a global HBIM approach, starting from the study of a seventeenth-century building located in Bari’s old center. The research has focused its attention on testing point cloud acquisition methods for the metric control of the models. During the modeling phase, the point cloud has been processed by both implementing aligning in place’s techniques and simplifying it to slice through the Autodesk ReCap tool to adopt and test direct modeling methods with Revit.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
