Abstract
In this paper the metallurgical and microhardness properties of a tool steel sample built by Direct Laser Metal Deposition process were investigated. Among potential uses of this sintering technique it is worth to mention the reparation of broken or worn dies. The analysis was made observing and testing two sections obtained dissecting the specimen along the deposition and its perpendicular directions. Porosity, microhardness and microstructure of the built specimen were measured and the related results analysedFile in questo prodotto:
