This contribution aims to describe the latest research on the application of SS treatments to contaminated marine sediments with both inorganic and mixed organic/inorganic compounds. The intent is to show how SS is not only a remediation technology, but a medium to enable recovery, recycling, and reuse of contaminated marine sediments.
