It is the first of the two volumes that collect some design themes drawn up during the teaching exercises carried out within the Architectural Restoration Laboratory B in the academic years 2003/2005. The works presented, grouped by geographical area, constitute the outcome of a demanding path of knowledge and analysis which had as its privileged theme of application the domed churches in axis in Puglia. They are paradigmatic examples that represent the emblem of a particular architectural tradition and testify to a constructive continuity on the Apulian territory, which has made use of the use of stone, in some cases even stereotomic, as a distinctive and unequivocal sign. Each restoration project always maintains a strong link with historical research, especially when the proposal contains strong integrative implications, the only way to avoid purely technological approaches or, on the contrary, marked by creative free will. The many investigations undertaken have helped to identify for each example the problematic nodes that the work, in need of restoration, posed from time to time.

Abstract
The many investigations undertaken have helped to identify for each example the problematic nodes that the work, in need of restoration, posed from time to time.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
