This paper reports UV dose experimental evaluations in submerged and non-submerged lamp UV reactors. UV intensity was calculated by the Point Source Summation (PSS) method, with residence time distributions assessed by application of experimental equations and validation by laser measurements. An experimental relation between the spectrophotometric unfiltered absorbance coefficient and the measured absorbance coefficient is reported. Minimum UV dose and doseavg values were assessed in turbolent flow conditions for the two reactors.

Abstract
This paper reports UV dose experimental evaluations in submerged and non-submerged lamp UV reactors. UV intensity was calculated by the Point Source Summation (PSS) method, with residence time distributions assessed by application of experimental equations and validation by laser measurements. An experimental relation between the spectrophotometric unfiltered absorbance coefficient and the measured absorbance coefficient is reported. Minimum UV dose and doseavg values were assessed in turbolent flow conditions for the two reactors.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
