Abstract

In movement analysis, specific motion tests, characterised by simplicity and rapidity of execution, are a useful for the evaluation of pathologies that damage the muscle/skeletal system. In some cases, this approach can usefully replace the use of the most complex ridimensional systems for movement evaluation. The aim of the present study is the design and manufacturing of a triaxial accelerometer. This is part of a project of production of a modular system based on contained costs and complexity, flexible and simple of use. Moreover, the number and the characteristics of the components were related to the type of the aimed functional evaluation and to the needs of the health-structure.
