In this paper an homotopy function for transient analysis of circuits with electronic switches is described. This homotopy function is based on the modified nodal analysis and on a resistive time-variant switch model. It is shown that the proposed homotopy holds the convergence constraints, reduces the number of iterations and preserves the knowledge of the currents and voltages during the switching

Abstract

In this paper an homotopy function for transient analysis of circuits with electronic switches is described. This homotopy function is based on the modified nodal analysis and on a resistive time-variant switch model. It is shown that the proposed homotopy holds the convergence constraints, reduces the number of iterations and preserves the knowledge of the currents and voltages during the switching
