Abstract

The combination of renewable resources, storage and EV charging station in DC microgrid, exploiting vehicle-to-grid facilities, allows to fairly address network integration on both technical and economic aspects. In this paper, the opportunity of aggregating these DC microgrid facilities as prosumers in an energy community framework, is explored increasing local demand with the aim of evaluating the most efficient community configuration. In particular, the day-ahead optimal scheduling is assessed by a multi-objective procedure accounting for distribution grid technical operation targets, and energy community economic efforts, including DC microgrid costs and proper remuneration scheme for energy exchanged within the community. The procedure is tested on a distribution network with different load users and integrating a set of DC microgrids, based on data of a real demonstrator.
